A quick update, because I have a headache, and I'm going to go and lie down for as long as it takes for it to go away:
My horse has come down with laminitis. Which. Sucks. It's early yet, apparently, but we had the vet out on Sunday night *gags* and he injected her with stuff. She went into the box, again, just as it was this time last year that she was boxed.
So...she is destined for weight loss and more exercise as soon as she's allowed, and box rest, and all sorts of stuff like that. And I am back to mucking out her stall every day, and washing her feet with cold water to keep the blood flowing, which is horrible in October, I can tell you. If anyone else has had a run in with laminitis, I'd love to know your experiences/have your help.
However, Snarry Games has started posting, and I'm waiting in anticipation of mine going up *glee*.
Snape after DH starts posting soon. I've had one bit done for ages, but I have to finish the other bit. I have until the 1st of November. Which is a fortnight, but doesn't feel that long.
Also, I have written a considerable amount of my Snarry Holidays piece. It's a lot more traditional now, rather than Aldous Huxley and a 200 words a piece between quotes, so we'll see how it goes. I'm quite happy with it if I'm honest. But I'm keeping it quite secret. It has a companion piece bit of art attached to it, which I am very pleased about. Yay knees. It's very pretty - and to be honest, I'm half tempted to draw a companion art to everything I write, like a title sheet.
On top of this, I have Harry Holidays to do, which is perhaps the toughest of my bunnies. It's not far off being scrapped in exchange for a much simpler plot. The problem is that my mind thinks in epics, rather than one shots. I have to remedy that.
My Snarry swap entry is -done-. Kind of. In that I've done it, but I'm not totally happy with it. But I am. But I'm not. We'll see.
